Not a bad player back in his day and age, wouldn't have got away with his hardman/thuggish style of play in today's game though.
Along with Billy Brenner, he was one of the main reasons that Leeds Utd still to this day have a reputation as being a team of dirty cheating bast*rds and 'Dirty, Dirty, Leeds Utd' is regularly chanted at them wherever they're playing an away match. * +

A fine player who fought long and hard , but that is what defending is all about , maybe he didn't stick to the rules on the field , but Leeds was his employer and he wanted to win for his side at all costs ... A totally different person off the field that would always be a polite proper English gent that would help anyone , no matter what. .. R.I.P * +
