Our lass is getting a cheap little corsa with disgusting tin pot wheels tonight and was just wondering if anyone knows what size alloy wheels I need to get her? I've googled it and keeps saying different things like a 4 stud set of corsa wheels will and won't fit any models etc? I haven't got a clue what size they are until I've looked at manual and hate sitting around thinking about it * +

The bolt pattern will be 4x100, the centre bore 56.1.

The offset depends on the width of the wheel. Check out www.willtheyfit.com to compare new sizes with the current ones.

Chances are the steels are about 14x5 et49 and you'll want something like 16x7 et35 but wheel size is a matter of opinion.

Don't put like 18in wagon wheels on ffs, it'll look shit. I have 15x8 et25 on my Mini, which is a very similar fit to a Corsa (but you don't say what age of Corsa). * +

Incidentally, the current size will be stamped on the wheel between the wheel bolts. It'll say something like 5.5J x 15 et50.

Vauxhall need the highest offsets in the business, so choosing is easy, as finding high enough offsets in the aftermarket is the main challenge for most.

Corsa/Vauxhall owners forums will be helpful. There will be loads of topics on wheel fitment. Also Google images search.

Type 'Corsa D 8x16' into Google images to get you going, then check out some other sizes. Make sure you find out the offset - if you get that wrong your tyres will be grinding your wheel arches. * +
