If they're a factory size she won't have to, but if they're like 7.5x18 then yeah it could invalidate a claim if they're not declared. * +

If you go from steel wheels to alloys, no matter what size, in the eyes of insurance companies, you will have modified the car, so best to let them know.
They'll use any excuse not to pay out in the event of a claim... * +

Cheers pal and to the other good advice replies. Unfortunately she got let down by the Polish c*nt at the very last minute so it doesn't matter now. Got no more than 2 grand to spend on a second car so common sense tells me to get a car with fitted alloys and then just get 40 a corner knocked off the asking price. Thanks *
