Oh come on, who expects a fine dining experience from a fast food franchise? Really, you're getting food from teenagers and middle aged people on their twentieth job and expect a Michelin three star experience? * +

Whilst not a vegetarian myself if I were I would never buy a McDonald's meal. Read a few stories recently about people being outraged after mistakenly being served meat products. Do these people not realise thay even buying a veggie burger is contributing to the slaughter of animals?

Yeah, i agree. But i don't think vegetarianism is black'n'white.

Some people just don't want to consume meat. They don't reach out into ethical practices around them. But for those who are against the use of animal farming, where do you draw the line? I mean we use animals for pretty much everything - they're in cosmetics, textiles, all sorts. Half the stores on the high street contain animal matter in some form or other, so you're never avoiding the support of animal killing for any way of human life.

That said, companies who specialise in animal products specifically - such as a burger chain - are an odd choice for a vegetarian to support.. * +
