I am pretty handy on many different types of projects, but I also know the limits of my experience and know when to bring in the professionals. * +

I've been in industrial maintenance all millenia, I was a contractor in the 90s, I do everything. Build my own vehicles, houses, streets, build my own forests and lakes and wrestle my own bears and crocodiles just for snax. I'm still employed by the U.S army as a chief fabricator and maintenance area support officer. You think I'm gonna call a plumber cos I gotta water leak? Please, I could plumb a whole new system with my eyes closed, in the time it takes most men to dig their tools out their man-cave. * +

do you DIY ? or do you pay someone that knows what they are doing ?. Our kitchen mixer tap hose has suddenly sprung a leak, i bought a new one off ebay, mrs T wants me to fix it. Since i know less than fk all about plumbing, it could be a problem. Been on tinterweb and it seems easy enough. Only time will tell. Also had the waterboard out last week to fix 3 leaks so we got a lot of air in the pipes, when you turn the tap on the whole house shakes rattles and rolls. Hopefully by turning the water off to fix the hose, it should also fix the air in the pipes fingers crossed.

You can always get Joey round to fix your ball . * +
