The bombing of dresden, could be considered a war crime. It was carried out in retrobution for the bombing of coventry. Even churchill said that dresden was a serious query against the conduct of Allied bombing. 25,000 non combatants, ie old ppl, woman and children lost thier lives, that day.

But what if it helped to shorten the war? And why don't people talk about things like the London blitz as a war crime? * +

So why don't you talk about them as war crimes? Seems that it's only Dresden what gets attacked as a war crime mainly * +

I can't recall a topic about Coventry or the London Blitz. Pretty certain if their was one then I would have commented in it though.
I'm not a fan of innocent people,civilians being slaughtered,be it England,Germany,Japan ...or anywhere else for that matter. * +
