When you're out and about and have booked a hotel room, do you feel safer with the 'smart cards' that are used nowadays or the traditional 'key'?
I'm somewhat on the boundary with this. I know that the card is more convenient but,
What if someone hacks into the system and has access into your room??

Prefer hotel key cards. They are just as secure as a traditional lock. Btw, people can pick a traditional lock also so... Convenience works for me lol * +

if it's a magnetic strip swipe it's safer than the ones you touch, think they can be read by someone in a cramped lift for example.
they make RFID blocking wallets now * +

Prefer self check-in and smart cards. Premier Inn are by far the best hotels for business use. * +
