Just along the road...

A man has been seriously hurt in a brawl during a funeral at a mosque in the south side of Glasgow.

Police were called to the mosque on Butterbiggins Road, Govanhill, at about 13:15 following reports of the incidents.

Eyewitnesses say a man attending the funeral was stabbed during a fight which broke out between a number of men.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The road was closed while officers carried out inquiries.

Can we ban mosques too while we're at it ? * +
