Most sports events should be on sports channels nowadays not main channels ie bbc etc as it blocks main viewing * +

Not everyone can afford subscription channels. Personally I don't mind the amount of Sports coverage on terrestrial TV. I hate the soaps and we get hours and hours of that garbage on our screens every week * +
