It was a joke lol, its banter TA will always be STABS to regulars, I know there are some good lads in the TA, we didn't have a TA battalion as guards don't have a TA equivalent but we had a couple on short term contracts with us and I was an instructor and we supplied an instructor to help on the TA infantry basic training course and he couldn't do one of the courses and I had to be a section commander on it, it was a 2 week course and a lot had to be fitted into that course , I done 9 months basic training plus then infantry training, they had 2 weeks to get a scaled version of all that! They didn't get much sleep and we even had to do a couple of days in the field and a mini passing out parade lol! I was tired by the end of it, so I can imagine they needed a holiday after it * +
