Generally I found it good fun. Was h*tching one time with a friend who was a vegetarian. We got a lift from a little van,I sat in the front and she had to sit on a dead pig in the back. She wasn't a happy camper..but beggars can't be choosers eh! * +

And a lift into London from a Jehovah Witness..that seemed a long journey. * +

I did it once when I was Japan cause I fell asleep on the train and it was the last stop in the middle of nowhere..
