How would you cope? I have been watching lots of these banged up abroad shows lately, how stupid these people are to fall into a trap of taking drugs from a country that doesn't tolerate drug smuggling, but you know it works out ok for them in the end. Theres not many of these shows that have Indonesia or Malaysia episodes. Thailand will give u a full life sentence but u will be out in about 5 years, the episode i saw about Thailand though was about an Aussie heroin smuggler who got a life sentence at the Bangkok hilton, got hooked on heroin inside and tested positive for HIV due to sharing needles and got let out due to this. Karma big time. * +

Stupidity has no bounds. Darwinism isn't a concept I empathize with much, tho. * +

Anyone who does this is selfish, they put their families through it. Imagine that phone call, having to tell your mum you have been locked up in a foreign jail! That would break me! * +

there are a few episodes about people who got kidnapped and a few days ago they had one on Henry Hill.
guess there aren't that many willing to talk about being a dumb criminal. * +

It really is stupid to get yourself in trouble like that... I can't remember if I read an article or watched a documentary about a woman who got locked up abroad after being r*ped, because the authorities in whatever country that was considered it sex out of wedlock. I never finished reading or watching it, it upset me too much. I think that would be hell. * +

Poor choices..most of mine were tequila based..absinthe a few times as well, I swear I've had more than a few edgar allan Poe scenarios after a few shots of absinthe..

At any rate..dont do the crime if you cant serve the time * +

My rules when planning on visiting another country is to learn as much of the language I can and find out about the laws in that country than are different from mine. And that has kept me from running afoul of the law in over eleven countries. *
