So I'm kinda done with my exams and just shifting between working and following my passions in life, and learning various ways to improve myself. I came across this idea of subconscious values instilled in people that control the conscious mind and whatever beliefs we hold subconsciously manifest in our every day life through our conscious mind.
I recently met a great girl, and I like her, and I want to be a great guy for her, but like many others, I feel I have some fu*ked up values that stop me from truly embracing love and whatever other beautiful things life has to offer. It could be thoughts like I'm undeserving of affection, not being worthwhile, and mostly it's that I'm too logical, cold and calculating, which I know is not true as I experience empathy a lot! There are many such core values I remember being instilled from childhood bullying, but mostly I don't feel the need for counselling, just rigorous self improvement! Haha.
So how does one go about changing their inherent beliefs and making them more aligned with reality? :) ahaha, I know it's deep philosophical stuff, but it's 4 am and I was just thinking of stuff so I asked. * +

Yeah, that sure is deep. Don't let people who were mean or cruel to you direct your actions and thoughts. We all have different things that dictate us, we can choose which forces we let influence us X * +

I do fully understand that many of us do experience very dark moments in our life. I've been there and it's not easy to describe it. A depth of darkness that mere words can't describe. It's normal. It happens to almost everyone at some point in their life and it's important to know that it will pass, and when you look back at that time later in life you will realise that it just wasn't worth it. I want you all to be aware that if you've not experienced this then it may happen to you in the future and you should go in pre-armed with the knowledge that it really is just a dark moment that will quickly pass. Knowing that it happens to most people, especially technical people will help you to get through that dark moment.

That's great, but she isn't gonna give a fk.
Your job is to be a clown and spend money on her.
Keep your soul searching close to your heart, you'll need it. * +
