Seriously I wanna do this. The whole world's a playground. Subterranean caves with lakes, vast coral reef systems, vast freshwater lakes (especially in this continent), underwater wrecks...

But if I do decide to try the training out here inland, I can give those subterranean water systems a dive. Read about them in my old Guinness WR books as a kid. Think there in Kuruman. Some sinkholes that go extremely deep within the earth.

cave diving is the last thing you want to do alone. experienced divers working in teams make mistakes, get panicked and lose their bearings... barings (?)

join a club, get your papers, make friends of like minds and don't be a statistic * +

I went scuba diving in Turkey, think i went about 10m deep. You definitely want to be getting lessons and experience if you're thinking about going in to caves and sh*t, you need to remember there's no light down there * +

even with the lights you take with you, you can stir up the silt and make the water so cloudy you have zero visibility. *
