Noise is an anxiety trigger for me. I don't mind the neighbours music or barking dogs or even loud tvs. But I don't deal well with multiple sources of noise at the same time. Hubby dearest has a habit of watching a series on his laptop and YouTube on his phone at the same time. And the fan will be on, making its own noise. And the neighbour's parrot is yelling. And another neighbour somewhere will be revving up his car coz he's a wannabe mechanic. And all the kids nearby will be playing around and laughing. That's all too much. Thank goodness for headphones. * +
