Just moved in with our lass and to say her parents aren't happy is an understatement. They won't talk to her and think I'm using her as she has a nice house and car etc and I'm basically a carer for my 85 year old Dad and only have a council flat. She was in a violent 9 year marriage with some drunk and I'm not exactly a saint but never have and never would touch a woman let alone someone I've fallen for. From what I gather they sound like stuck up snobs who aren't even willing to meet me. I feel like getting in touch and telling them to fu*k off, she's 34 not 16 but obviously wouldn't be that stupid. She's met my family and my dog loves her too and just don't get how these so called parents of hers could be so cruel. Anyone on here had similar problems? * +

Never had that problem but if I were you I'd just get on with it and prove them wrong, get a ring on her finger asap then if it goes t*ts up at least you've got half of her house. * +
