PC Barratt was heard using foul and racist language in a takeaway shop. Her colleagues heard her and she subsequently lost her job. She is now to be reinstated and get 15 grand in back pay. What a sickening situation. * +

What's sickening, me auld mucker? Never heard of a 22 year old lass cuss a few out while drunk? she wasn't acting in any official capacity whatsoever. it was Christmas, she was out and about with friends. That's the end of the world?

Abu Hamza and his cronies stand out openly in the crowd under an official religious leader capacity, chants death to our families and he's protected with free speech? given a million dollar worth council house? some poor young lass had a slip of words, and she's been suspended for 6 months and made to come for multiple hearings?

Of course she did receive all of that, has apologized profusely and needlessly.

even cried and begged to stay while her officers backed her up and said she wasn't remotely racist in her job and has perfect merits... but hey, that isn't enough for snowflakes, not when it involves the ''oppressed'' minority.... * +

I bet if you went back 30 years ago this would have been dealt with by the local top cop, she would have probably been suspended for a week, made to apologise and that would be an end to it, but the political correctness mob have messed everything up, she could very well be a good police officer. We are all human beings and sometimes say something we later regret, I think the old days were much better, common sense seems to have gone out of the window these days.
