It's awful seeing someone you love forgetting who you are and what's going on. Just be there for them as best you can.

Dementia is the uks biggest killer. Thats what shocked me. My father inlaw passed away with/from it. He was happy. The last time i seen him he was saying to me sshh they are planning my 21st birthday and its a secret he was 78 God bless him.
This was a man that would walk the length of aberdeen to go to his work. Work a full hard shift then walk home. Take his dog for a walk every evening do his garden. Flowers at the front fruit and veg bain the back. Play golf. Go fishing. The man never sat down. Stone deef mind but very funny.
In the end he couldnt get upstairs to his bathroom or bedroom . When it took him it took him quick.
