don't like the idea of the bank having the ability to control my money or screw up my account for me.

plus I've worked at places where the mobile network that looks after the card terminals has gone down. it doesn't take much to make cards useless.

Cash will aways be with us, they want it gone, the card companies make money everytime you use a debt card that the reason they want ever where cashless, I find it strange we went chip and pin to stop fraud, then they go backward with contact less cards. The only people who will benefit from a cashless world will be the likes of visa and Mastercard.
