Not sure if drill music is now banned in the UK or whether certain people are just barred from creating it.
Anyway, isn't this just some form of censorship? * +

Should some types of music be barred for its lyrical content? Also is there a Drill act named Black and Decker? * +

Music censorship goes back a long way. From Radio 1 banning a song by Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Bob Dylan songs been banned from the radio during the first gulf war. .and much further back. * +

as for banning drill music, surely that's just going to increase it's attraction as something illicit. might be better off giving the women's institute their own prime time show where they can be down with the kids. * +

I've not heard it either tbf. Just makes me wonder about music and censorship in the modern world. Apparently drill music often glorifies violence and gang culture. * +
