I guess we have all encountered a jobsworth or two in our time. What's the worst situation you have had to deal with?

I had an experience at a train station whilst trying to buy a ticket. The regular service counters were mainly empty but I needed assistance buying a ticket. I approached the disabled counter which had a massive wheelchair sign and the word Disabled above it. * +

I asked for my ticket and the guy said no and pointed to the wheelchair signage. He got very angry and said go use another counter. He insisted that only wheelchair users could use that counter. Anyway I took his name and reported the fkr! Jobsworths eh.. * +

Sometimes though Jobsworths really are only doing their job and to go beyond that could result in being sacked. So I do sometimes feel they are doing what they are paid to do. * +

The amount of times you get called a jobsworth when you're a bouncer and you stop people doing completely unacceptable things is amazing. * +

The health and safety manager at my company is the biggest jobsworth there, hes a pain in the ars* and I've had a few run ins with him and his dept especially the past couple of years, but I accept he's there to do his job and I understand how important his job is but I don't like the way he goes about it and he has caused people to lose their jobs in the past. * +

Health and Safety is a big part of my job as well and you have to come down hard on it especially when the job is inherently dangerous to begin with. I had to get rid of someone last week rhat looked innocuous enough but could have easily led to injury or fatality. * +

A long time ago I stood in a shop for ages trying to get cashback on my card. I gave a sh*t signature so the woman kept me in the shop while she rang my bank. Stupid bi**h. She was really arsey about it as well * +
