We had separate carriages on my school trains. Old 70s diesel things with swing doors, some had side corridors.

It was great. We used to let off fireworks in the carriage, piss on the seats, and play chicken with passing trains with our heads out the window.

geez remember those trains with corridors ,and the click doors that everyone seemed to open before the train even got fully in the station eager to get off,, dirty.pollution fkrs filled stations with diesel fumes can still smell it now * +
