There is absolutely no scenario in which Julius Malema or his Marxist Leftist view will bring any prosperity to South Africa. He believes in raw populism and holds Hugo Chaves and Fidel Castro up as his heroes.
Hes even gone to Venezuela to study how they have brought prosperity to the masses, and came back singing Maduros praises.
Julius Malema is in politics for one reason: To gain access to the feeding trough. Like all marxist countries, hell push for the nationalisation of all private owned property to be held in trust for the prosperity of all citizens but in reality only a select few will have access to the wealth.
The real wealth, the jobs, the foreign investment (which SA desperately needs), will flee this country as it did in Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela and Zimbabwe. Unemployment will sky-rocket and people will be reduced to eating tree-bark and boiling feathers from pillows for food (yes, this is happening right now in Venezuela). * +

Julius Malema is also a racist. Spend any time on YouTube and youll see his speeches in which he calls for people to rise up and slit the throats of whiteness, confiscate white property, and chase the whites into the sea.
While South Africa certainly does have to deal with the inequality left by Apartheid, calling for violence against whites in a racially divided society is particularly irresponsible.
Zimbabwe and Venezuela have gone down the road Malema is proposing, so you can see where it leads: rampant unemployment, a worthless currency, a collapsed economy and poverty for the masses.
His party only has 6 support in the National Assembly, but because of his radical views he gets a lot of media-attention, and, like Trump, he spews forth so many lies so often that people start believing it to be true. His views are dangerous, and his popularity amongst the disenfranchised grows because he is promising them something that cannot be delivered. * +
