Okay so yesterday evening the Mrs was talking and she mentioned a band from a few years ago. Not a band I like so my side of the conversation was very limited.
I've just been on YouTube and that bands songs have been recommended to me. * +

So are our phones always listening? I guess they must be in order for Google voice to work?
It's happened a few times now..speak about something and then before you know it YouTube is recommending it. This happened to you? * +

I guess the phone must be listening in order to respond when I say ''Okay Google''. Not got a problem with it really but it could be a little disconcerting I guess. * +

also use a slide over lens cover on rear camera there wafer thin n stops any spies spy * +

I don't have such technology active, afaik. Yes I have an android smartphone, but it's not set-up for voice at all.

I do realise that I can't always keep on top of my cookies, many sites now require your permission to use the data you input via text, but i'm in control of what I write.

Permission for microphone use is always denied, sometimes this means I can't use the site, other times it's allowed but says something might not work properly.

I only use websites - not apps. Yes I use a handful of basic tool apps like telephone, text messaging, lock, even Google maps.. but haven't needed to give permissions for those to be used (I should check the telephone). * +
