Remember the BT fire bampop.gif in one of Manchesters underground cable tunnels ,that affected sh*t loads stuffs not just mobiles in Manchester , I'm 20miles away and no internet was working even mobiles were affected as fixed lines go to many of the mobile masts. * +

ok, in such instances it's understandable, but Telkom are just useless all round. some cables got nicked roughly 1.5km from where I live. it's been a month since then and still no phone or ADSL, n they're supposedly trying to find a contractor to put in the new cable that has been available for 3 weeks... * +

ok last night Telkom mobile had a problem with accessing the internet, all subscribers couldn't connect...

just heard on the radio that apparently one of the routers in Pretoria got affected by a power cut or something...

I smell a rat though, could one router handle millions of connections, like an entire networks worth of connections?

had a problem with Telkom in P.E too.... was just one night i think. * +

@mikey which network are you using? I've had problems on Telkom, Virgin, Vodacom Cell C in past 2 weeks... So basically 4 out of 5 networks, maybe MTN had issues too, I don't have a SIM card for MTN...

EE, which is owned by British Telecom these days. *
