I dont know.i can think of a lot of reasons but i cant tell which it is.he doesnt deal with people,barely leaves the house.i dont see what the alternative is though.maybe he inherited our dad's bronchitis.in which case it isnt going to just go away * +

perhaps ring his surgery assuming he has one he must have been even if years ago,,, and ask for advise , explain his position to them as they will deal with many people's whom cannot leave the house,agrophobia, anxious etc.. * +

Sounds like my dad. He can barely walk at the moment cos he needs a knee operation, but is refusing to go for some reason. My mum keeps telling him hes gonna end up in a wheelchair but he turns a deaf ear
