Some parents are threatening to sue the school for having a gay pride event, saying their kids want education not indoctrination. Their kids are around 4 or 5years old. Think the parents are right. Kids that age should not be exposed to anything like this * +

How is it sex education? It's nothing to do with the mechanics of the sex act or sex acts. It's merely letting kids know it's okay if you see two men or two women together in the street. Letting them know it's nothing bad or unusual . No different to seeing a man and woman holding hands. If the kids were being taught about sex at that age then yes it's totally wrong. * +

Sorry, but it's just not a primary school level event imo. There is more than enough awareness all over the media etc, and imo parents have a right to monitor this kind of thing and what their young children are being exposed to at school. * +
