Bodega is just the Spanish name for a convenient store, corner store, deli etc. convenience of obtaining lottery tickets, a 6 pack of beer, newspaper, condoms, coffee, an egg sandwich, juice, toilet paper, tin stuff, chips, detergent etc. Just to save you a major trip to the supermarket really.
