I just aren't seeing what difference the colour of the dead men makes to anything. Presumably, all of the men honoured on the memorial are white men but that doesn't mean it should be removed, unless there is some sort of evidence or reason to believe that non-white people were deliberately excluded or left out on purpose for some reason. I don't suppose there'd be very many non-white students from Southampton University that were killed in WW1, if there was any. * +
