A 65 year old man with a disfigured face says he was jerked into the managers office of a restaurant and told to leave or cover his face. Kirby Evans lost his nose and one eye to cancer. * +

The owner of the place said I run a business and people dine in. He would come and sit at the food booths at the busy time of day. I have bills to pay and I work very hard. * +

Is this just a case of a business choosing not to serve someone it doesn't want to or is it prejudice against those with a facial disfigurement? She is almost saying his appearance stops other potential customers buying food. * +

Mr Evans says from now in he will eat at a different nearby restaurant. The owners there say he is welcome and even has his own place. I wonder if by his own place they mean a seating area where his looks don't cause upset? I am just speculating about that..just a thought. * +

Thats horrible, he should take her to court. I saw a tv show the other day and it was presented by a man with a massive head and big lips so if he can present a tv show then a poor guy who had cancer and its left him disfigured should be able to eat anywhere he wants. * +
