Of course it was ...come on diggie ...if you think that Supreme Court judge went in without whispers in his ears you want to give yourself a shake The bakers are Irish ..any sweetener thrown that way just now helps May ...

It was 5 judges and they are non political. Government doesn't appoint them * +

Yeah you can, and you're then subject to natural market forces. It's his business and he can run it how he likes. And if he becomes unpopular and tarnishes that business, then his profits will fall and he'll go bust. Simple.
But he hasn't gone bust, so it seems his customers are happy with him. So fair play. It's his business and he runs it how he likes.

It's not like he's the first. Pubs and clubs kick people out, and refuse them at the door, based on whether they like the look of them or not. Some turn down travellers, for instance, or even men just because they're male and they want more women in. And it's fine. They do what works for them.

Well,no ..I deeply believe that rights and freedom are in the same bag ,so they don't clash
Two ordinary courts found in favour of the wedding party side ,it took a Supreme Court to put it's stamp on it ...and that's political ...no doubt about it ,

But the rights of the gays to be treated fairly collided with the freedoms of the baker to choose, so no they weren't in the same bag.

The problem with legal aid just covering one court is if they don't get a fair hearing. That said, court is court, and what happens there should be set in stone. You don't lose a court case and then go to a different court to get a second opinion! And if that's the case then either there's a problem with the courts or people's attitudes to them. * +
