So Ive been thinking, and no its not too early. As Ive known people to have done their holiday shopping 3 months leading up to the holidays. Meanwhile its like a day before Christmas Eve and Im still scrambling usually. Plus getting stuff over time doesnt make me feel like Im going broke right round the holidays.
Personally, my family is kinda traditional- in that we exchange gifts. So I cant stand holidays and always spending so much money, but I fu*king do it anyway.
. Sometimes I get sh*tty gifts, othertimes Im a happy camper. Its not about the price or the value, its about knowing Id appreciate something and gifting it to me and vice versa.
Im a giver of great gifts if I must say so myself, Ive started looking at ideas and matching up personalities with items, because I never wanna gift a gift someone doesnt gag over at first sight.
Are you the early shopper?
Last minute shopper, scrambling like I always am?
If you dont give or receive gifts, thats fine too. Yes I know its all commercialism so no need to dampen the spirit if you do not participate in the holiday. Thank you! * +

Well theres also Kwanzaa and Hanukkah that people celebrate and do gift giving and feasts for. Christmas included makes it holiday shopping. * +

But that's the fun of it, going out on Christmas Eve buying presets and trying to grab a bargain before the crowds do.
Where's the fun in buying everything months in advance, just seems too organised and formal.
All that for one day a year stretched to months before really doesn't seem that fun at all. * +
