think each network is different . Im on EE and have it set so i can only retrieve voicemail from my actual mobile , in voicemail settings you can set it to allow read from another phone and it let's you setup a security pin of your own.
.
.
I never ever.use the voicemail feature anyhow.
.
Does anyone ?

Okay i've just checked this, and they're switched off by default. So my voicemail can only be reached with my actual phone.

The voice said I could set it with remote access with a custom PIN so it looks like there's no default PIN on EE, and anyone on this network is automatically protected. * +

Whatsapp has basically replaced sms. I like the service, but I'm not very chatty anymore. So my status says something antisocial to discourage people from contacting me. I recently changed my number so almost nobody has my new number. I only want to use whatsapp for contacting a handful of people that matter. But god dammit, there's always one person who will send fu*king bs links and chain messages, etc. Grrr. *
