Emptied my coin pot in my toolbox at work, whilst i was there, as i'm gonna be off for a fair few weeks. So i've now got like fifteen quid in change on me. * +

I avoid cash as much as possible. I keep a few 1 and 2 dollar coins for the parking meters which don't have an app. I also use another app which rounds up my spare change and invests it. E.g. if I buy a coffee for 4.50 then it takes 50 cents and invests it. * +

Supermarket near me has a coinstar machine so I use that from time to time. Throw all my coppers and silver coins up to 20p in that. Charges a 10 per cent fee. But tend to get about 30 quid each time *
