i had a thunder pole in the garden, my dad was a licenced g1 radio ham so we had 10 or more antenas in our garden, the loft had 3 or 4 dipoles too. I remember having to crawl round the loft, 20 or 30 times with a fkn big roll of copper wire so he could do moon bounces (dunno) never did understand what they were even when he tried explaining it a few times. * +

Yes and had a vial of radioactive tritium gas inside the dial so you could see it in the dark...prob worth a packet if could find one that still glows a little * +
