What type of flooring do you prefer? Tiles, carpets or wooden floors?

Personally, I find tiles most suited for around the house and carpets in the office environment.
Wooden floors are okay inside an entertainment room, study or lounge. * +

I have floorboards everywhere except tiles in the laundry and bathroom, and lino in the kitchen. I wish I had tiles in the kitchen. * +
