so mr Ramaphosa asks from his ivory tower that everyone remains positive during this recession....

SARS says they won't be meeting their target with inciming tax due to the recession....

now they are planning on adding higher tax to luxury items.... like fresh chicken and school uniforms etc....

petrol keeps going up, land prices have fallen, we are in a recession and now we will be paying higher tax in something classes as a luxury item although it is compulsory... ie school uniform.... and the poorest will suffer the most without even the middle class are in for a rough time. * +

then a have the EFF who trashed a place of business forcing them to close their doors....

reason? a shareholder who was also a family member said the K word... he was fired and they company and family spoke out against him.... he no longer has any financial ties to the said company but the EFF want all the businesses shut down and boycotted. ... not sure what they expect more to be done. * +

then we have national foreigners whose shops have been looted and then attacked due to them selling expired foods... now I could understand the anger... but just don't buy it and report it.... but no the logic is... loot and steal the expired stuffs and then burn and try kill the foreign nationals... why would you get angry about expired foods but still steal it for yourself... * +

Because the food being expired is an excuse to loot and pillage and to get people to feel sorry for you after you've gone on a rampage. * +

Fair play argument? I mean if a business isn't playing fairly, then unsavoury or desperate people could use that as an excuse not play fairly.. i dunno, looting doesn't really happen here. Apart from kids doing beer snatches cos they can't get served... * +
