So we are all grownups here, Im sure at some point or a next youve all tried something that has altered your state of consciousness. Whether you drank it, ate it, smoked it, injected it, or snorted it, I dont care. Its just cool to hear the juicy details.

So for me -a couple years ago my vegan friend made rice crispy thc (found in marijuana) infused vegan snacks. He told me to share it caus it was strong- so I gave my other friend like a quarter and I had the rest, plus it was late afternoon and I was hungry so why not, later found out that was a mistake. On my way home I was starting to feel it. That night I had a webinar for class so I had to log in. I managed to get on my laptop and log in and all I really remember is texting my friend to ask wtf was in this treat. I couldnt stay up, I slept through the webinar, because I could not focus. I remember being strewn half way over my bed. Woke up the next morning with that text half typed, but never even sent. Needless to say it * +

A mate moved to a village near Luton. He deteriorated there, got into joyriding, death metal music, lower quality drugs by the look of it..

Still, i liked to keep in touch, and i liked an acid. At the time i had a 3yo MG Metro (it was 1993) and a couple of us would go see him every week or so.

This particular time, i went alone, and we mixed a couple of acid with a load of magic mushrooms at a house there.
I parked the car up for the night, and a few of us sat and chilled. They had various bongs, music, nice little session.

It did not go well for long.

I was fine, given strange company, and i initially went on a strange but enjoyable trip - only, he went into a bad one.
We fell out of sync, i tried to stay with him but he was like a moth to a lightbulb.

He wanted to go, so naturally i went with him. Now it was just us and he was getting paranoid. He ran off to his bird's parent's house.

I was alone. I tried to save it but it was too late. Eyes everywhere, i was on a bad trip. On my own. In a random village.
I had to get home.
I went to my car, a window was popped and my rear speakers nicked. I wasn't even peaking yet.

I booted it straight up the M1 motorway to Milton Keynes but, on the way, i was tripping so hard, my senses broke up - i couldn't tell if i was parked up in a petrol station or still doing 70mph...

Then my mind is telling me i'm on the wrong side of the motorway and should turn around. But i put myself in every failsafe position i could, kept faith, kept going, and got to my estate.

I couldn't go home though. By now i was peaking, twisted in virtual rope, i was in hell on a strong bad trip, on my own, at like 3am. I parked up on a quiet street, folded the back seats, covered myself in a blanket and just calmly and authoritatively bad-tripped myself out for several hours until the coast was clear to go for my bed.

Not my best acid trip. But RIP Ian, he died several years * +

It was like I had been warped into another dimension, there were the same people around me but we went out and did stuff and went downstairs, at the end of the trip it was me laying down with bits of glass stuck in me as I had fell through a window and I could see blood pouring out of me and could feel myself getting weaker and was like I was going through a tunnel then I was back in the room with the people I had been with but I had never left the room.

That's the last time I ever touched them, freaked me out. * +
