If you had a loved one who passed away, and they happen to have a social media presence, would you try get their Facebook or any similar account closed or would you keep it still active?

Personally, I'll keep it still active so to feel their presence when need be. * +

dont know but about 5 people from my facebook friends died and i never now how long before i should remove them usually leave it a few months * +

I dunno. I have 2 people on my fb friend list that passed away. I don't know why I don't delete them. I wasn't particularly close to either of them. * +

I think that fb accounts can be changed if the person dies saying remembering or something like that. Someone i went to school with died about 6 years ago now and everynight his mum posts on his page goodnight. * +

I'd just leave it there but i can't see me ever adding anything. I suppose it's like flowers and messages on a grave. I'm not into all that.

I mean, when theyre gone, they're gone. But there's nothing wrong with having a look, a think, some reflection.. reminisce. Once in a while. As long as it's constructive. * +

A few friends of mine have their pages still open...people post on them...
Share things on there...
they are now little memorial pages...
It has helped one of my friend's daughters...they share pictures and messages... * +
