one time I was called a wee woman was accused of assaulting a huge guy a few yrs older (she was @60)'..unfortunately, I developed flu during post selection

Last November I was called up for it,supposed to start on the Monday so I had too phone the night before to find out it was on,automated voice told me it was,so I and another 49 people turned up to be told it was not happening that day and the automated voice thingy had not been updated!! Had to phone it every night to be told every night I was not required to turn up until Wednesday night to turn up Thursday,so I went and sat for just over 3 hours,all the jurors names were put into a fishbowl and the clerke picked names out,mines was not picked,all the names picked were taken away and questioned to see if they knew anybody involved in the case or if they could be medically excused then all the unchosen were let away,the most boring process Ive had to endure. * +
