what are your views on men working with pre school or young children? for eg at creche etc...

would you feel comfortable with your child in a creche where men were employed in any capacity ? * +

the reason for this question is I was surprised when reading online abt a 2 yr old who was allegedly molested at her creche by a male employee....

for quite a few the main concern and outrage was because a man was employed at the creche in the first place * +

We had a guy working at the nursery where our daughter went, never had a problem with it, men aren't all kiddyfiddlers. In fact there was some reported abuse in a different nursery in our town but that was a female child minder. * +

There was a woman on a breakfast tv show a few years ago and she stated no single men should ever be allowed to work with children. Obviously she was suggesting single men are more likely to be sexual abusers than married men or men in relationships. Crazy logic in my opinion. * +
