And because we feel empathy for all innocent people involved in such horrific incidents. It affects the perception we have of each other, it divides us further. We care that hatred is not displaced by society, because there is no reason to drop to their level, especially in a society where we like to wave the banner of fundamental rights, and the amount of years and effort it took to build such a system.

Facts are facts though, and we must always be aware of them also. It's not driven by hate, it's driven to have an open communicating society with an understanding between people.

I have empathy for anyone hurt or killed for nothing it is stulid n shouldn't happen at all. Ertain supposedly caring folk on here would be lying if they said the same * +

Well the alt-right love taking credit for Trump's election. On that basis it could be argued that the worldwide impact of helping to elect a criminally corrupt and morally bankrupt US president is actually greater than anything that Islamic fundamentalism has achieved. * +
