I experimented with a friend who had back pain, seemingly it worked and they feel great. One problem though, now my back been sore since that day, what to do? any advice? * +

Ah, I may be ignorant, but it sounds more or less just another meditation technique, the sole difference being the intent with which you meditate.
Scientifically speaking, most of the physical discomfort is exaggedated and increased further by the mind, and once one becomes observer to the pattern of the mind, he comes to acceptance to the pain and then with a single exhale, the pain is supposedly ''removed'' from the body. * +
