Have been on leave for the Easter holidays. Lucky teachers, THEY don't have to put in leave lol. Spend it with my family. Returned last night. Used today to see a doctor and some shopping. Tomorow I'll be back to work. Shudder to think of all the work that had been piling up waiting for my return. * +

Well. It all started around 5am, when I got out of bed.
This wasn't actually the start at all, as i'd been awake a couple of hours earlier, but you gotta draw the line somewhere.

Anyway, so I wrapped a towel around my waist and did a quick top-only wash.
Now this seems pretty minging for a Monday morning, but I'm halfway through my week and didn't need the full Polish car wash treatment.

Not if I was gonna have time for a bowl of Golden Nuggets. And let's face it, you'd go to a wedding straight after a mass orgy without washing so much as your hands if it meant not missing out on a bowl of Golden Nuggets..

Anyway, I was dressed and ready to go, just three minutes later, as fashion isn't really a thing at work. So I grabbed my keys, phone and bike, and headed out into the drizzle.

It was a sedate cruise to work. It's quite blissful, cycling in light drizzle. I was only equipped with my baseball cap under my Parker hood, but I stayed perfectly dry but for my thighs - they soon dried.

Well my shift at work was 12hrs long, so it's a bit of a long story. To summarise, I did a couple of projects, got some good banter in, and had an epic round of cheese on toast. But alas, the time came to go home.

Not before picking up a parcel from my local drop point, though. This wasn't in fact all that local, and by the time I got home - bearing in mind the weather hadn't changed at all - i was quite damp in the legs.

On getting home, I wrapped some salmon in foil with some orange and dill sauce, which I've literally just eaten. And finally, preparations for a bath are in place - something I'm now in considerably more need of than I was this morning. * +
