a bit like my other post but don't want to lump it together and there isn't much else being posted so ...

sometimes driving along I see houses standing empty or turned into businesses and I wish I could be transported back in time and see those houses back in the day that they were homes to families and get quite sad at how homes are now changed into cold businesses.... do you ever wonder abt what tales of joy and sorrows those walls hold ..

how do you feel an houses being turned into businesses and areas that once homed families now being turned into areas of business... always saddens me. * +

i don't like it i see historical n mostly beautiful places getting destroyed all the time

There was a series of programmes on bbc not long ago where they followed a houses history over several generations to present day ,it was in Liverpool and started off as a merchants house ,,complete with servants et al right through to today's flat conversion ,it was interesting ... * +

There was another series that put a modern family into different decades and they had too live like that ...it was funny to see them on rations * +
