The problem was with the ANC and how they campaigned / ruled. I never said there wasn't a culture of hard work and ambition in the people, even through all the hardship, just that it was never an ANC cultural priority. You just have to look at the education standards and policies post 94.

Yeah, and quite ironic to think people died promoting better education standards before 1976. I suppose governments must realize that a better educated and more scientifically aware society can be better than billions spent on military budget every year. * +
