As for easter, i don't even know. We celebrate Jesus getting tortured and eat chocolate. That's about as much as i've ever worked out. I don't even know what part the easter bunny plays. Seems it brings eggs? Why would a rabbit bring eggs? They expect us to brainwash our kids with this bollocks?

it isn't celebrating His tortue and murder... it is being thankful for His sacrifice... I don't really want to get into a religious discussion but just want to try explain...

the eggs and bunny has as much to do with that as the Xmas tree has to do with the birth of Jesus...

the bunny and eggs are actually a pagan festival or holiday any fertility...

the Catholic church adopted these pagan holidays and festivals to make it easier to get pagans to join the church... so that they didn't have to let gonof their fun and traditions so to speak * +

there are Christians that don't celebrate these holidays as the Bible warns abt having more than one god and and partaking in pagan festivals... the Catholic church aren't viewed as Christians to many. * +

I would lie if i had to say what all the issues are....

I feel as if they are praying to idols personally.... when they pray to a statue of Jesus...

praying to Mother Mary is another thing I just can't be ok with..

how a priest can forgive your sins. ..

and their immense wealth... I have the same problem with charismatic preachers and churches too. (the latter mentioned) * +
