The old saying money doesn't buy happiness. Anyway I'm looking at a new job which is completely on the money. Compared to a job which I love and have never been happier in. What would you choose and why? * +

Depends on your priorities i think. Money doesnt buy happiness but neither does being less well off. 30 years ago i was earning what would be considered good money nowadays. 15 years later I was earning much less..but i was a lot happier. i was happier not because i was earning less but because i was doing something i loved. * +

of course money can buy happiness.... when you think of it it really can. ...
you spend a lot of time at work so doing something you love is great and should be a goal where possible...
i woildnt leave a job I loved for something I didn't just because it paid better... but I would if what i loved wasn't paying the bills ...
it doesn't help being happy in a job but can't pay the rent etc and have a bit to put away * +

For me both jobs pay the bills, but I will sacrifice time and enjoyment for extra money which is always handy * +

If you're happy in your job then I'd stay there but if you need to earn more to live then obviously move jobs.
good luck whatever you do. * +

you have to do what is going to make you the happiest... so if it is the extra money then go for it... nothing wrong for wanting more and willing to work for it * +

I would choose doing the job i love to do. I might not be earning a lot, but at least I'm stable and content. * +

I'd go for the money. Money can't buy happiness but it can pay your car insurance and petrol for your car. * +
