I used to be getting full 8 hours when i worked days. When i started work as a night security guard on a 6pm to 6am .12hour shift at first i was allowed to grab a couple of hours on the site until i became used to the change, as found it hard to sleep by day. When i became used to it i was okay, even now i can manage on only 5 hours, it is always 2 am or sometimes 3 am b4 i go to bed, and am usually up again at around 7 am, later on sunday mornings my lie in day. Rare that i am up before 9 30, * +
