The first SMS simply wrote ''Merry Christmas'' and indeed it was quite a gift to the people, as it's been really quite popular.

Today the SMS has decreased in popularity, due to online messaging services, I personally see them as an evolution of the same thing - beats posting a letter! Just don't do it whilst you're driving. Or on the job. Or in the cinema. Or crossing the road. Or during a romantic meal. Or... * +
